Shailendra Palvia is Assistant Professor of Information Systems at Babson College in Wellesley, MA. He also taught at Kent State University for two years. His research interests include implementation of MIS/DSS, mode of presentation for problem framing and problem solving, managing the system development process, and global issues of information technology management. He has also published twenty-four papers in several regional, national, and international conference proceedings. He is a member of the Decision Science Institute (DSI), the Institute of Management Sciences (TIMS), Society for Information Management (SIM), and American Statistical Association (ASA). Zigli holds a joint appointment as a Professor of Business Administration at The Citadel and Professor of Health Services Administration at the Medical University of South Carolina. He also serves as the Director of the MBA Program at The Citadel.
